YAK LIKE TO LIVE NATURAL ENVIRONMENT
Yak are unique mammal and like to live in the upland
mountain pastures and open vast meadows. High open upland pasture and mountain
environment are best suited to this cryophilic species. They change their food
and pasture from season to season and are in move round the year.
Interestingly, female yak have to drink more water from snow
patches in order to produce milk. This means that female Yak may need to move
greater length to adopt and have to go steeper and risky mountain to find snow.
